Man City Thrash Nottingham Forest 6-0 with Haaland Hat-trick

Foden and Haaland on Target as City Dominate Despite Red Card

First-half strikes from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland set the tone for a comfortable victory for Manchester City against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Despite being reduced to 10 men after Rodri's dismissal early in the second half, City remained in control throughout the match. Haaland completed his hat-trick after the break, while Julian Alvarez and Joao Cancelo added further goals to complete the rout.

The result sees City maintain their perfect start to the season, while Forest remain without a win after three games.

Foden Breaks the Deadlock

City took the lead in the 12th minute when Foden found space in the Forest defense and fired a low shot past Dean Henderson. It was the England international's first goal of the season.

Haaland doubled City's lead just 10 minutes later with a clinical finish from inside the box. The Norwegian has now scored six goals in his first three Premier League appearances.

Rodri Sent Off

Forest's hopes of a comeback were dealt a blow when Rodri was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Brennan Johnson in the 53rd minute.

However, City remained dominant and Haaland completed his hat-trick just three minutes later with a powerful header from a Kevin De Bruyne cross.

City Cruise to Victory

Forest offered little resistance as City continued to create chances. Alvarez added a fourth goal in the 70th minute, before Cancelo completed the scoring with a stunning strike from outside the box.

The win sees City move top of the Premier League table, while Forest remain in the relegation zone.
